CISF Recruitment 2021 - 690 Assistant Sub Inspector Vacancy

It is proposed to invite applications from eligible departmental candidates for filling up of 690 vacancies (UR- 536, SC-103 and ST- 51) of Asstt. Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) against the recruitment year 2020. However, vacancies may increase/decrease at the time of final selection.

Only Head Constable/GD, Constable/GD and Constable/Tradesmen’ who have completed 5 years regular service including the period of basic training in the grade or five years combined_regular service as Head Constable/GD, Constable/GD and Constable/Tradesmen, as on 01.08.2020 (i.e., those who have been appointed in the Force on or before 31.07.2015 ) are eligible to participate in this Limited Departmental Competitive Examination and they may submit their applications as prescribed vide Appendix “A” to this letter along with a certificate to the effect that no criminal/DE/ vigilance cases and no regular enquiry on sexual harassment charges are either pending or contemplated against them and as per Appendix- B-1, B-2 and B-3 through proper channel to their respective Application receiving DisG {(i.e., DIG(NZ-I) New Delhi, DIG(SZ-1) Chennai, DIG(WZ) Mumbai, DIG(EZ-1) Patna, DIG(SEZ-1) Kolkata, DIG (NCR) New Delhi, DIG(CZ) Bhilai and DIG(NEZ) Guwahati } provided they fulfill the eligibility. criteria, as mentioned in Para-6 below. Other appendices such as Appendix-C and Appendix-D’are also to be completed in cases wherever applicable.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification : Candidates should have graduated from any recognized University at any stream.

Service Eligibility: Candidate should have completed five years of regular service including basic training: in the grade or five years combined regular service as Constable/GD.

Upper age limit : 35 years as on 01.08.2020 i.e., helshe must’have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. No age: relaxation is applicable for OBC candidatesi las no vacancy is reserved for OBC category. OBC candidates candidates. can apply as General

How To Apply : 

Applications of eligible candidates who are posted in the units under the administrative control of DISG Plant or DisG DAE or DOS or Airports or BNs or GBS or SSG or HQRS or in Training Institutions will be forwarded directly to the respective Zonal DisG mentioned in Para-3 above by the respective Unit Commanders instead of routing the same through their DisG. For example, applications in respect of personnel posted in RAPS Kota, VsSC Thumba and ASG Pune will be forwarded directly by the respective Unit Commanders to DIG/NZ-I New Delhi, DIG/SZ-1 Chennai and DIG/WZ Mumbai respectively instead of routing DIGINZ the same through DIG/DAE, DIG/DOS and DIG/APWZ. Units/Bns/offices under APS North under sectors will forward the applications of eligible candidates of their units/Bns/offices DIG/NZ-1 New Delhi. Applications in FHQrs will be forwarded to DIG, NZ-1, New Delhi through HQTS Estt Branch. The respective Branch will forward applications of personnel attached with this Directorate, to their respective units from where the same will be forwarded to DIG, NZ-I, New Delhi after verifying the service particulars of the candidate.

Important Dates : 
All eligible departmental candidates may submit their applications duly filled in Appendix-A, B-1, B-2 & B-3 to their respective Unit Commanders by 05.02.2021 i.e, last date for receipt of applications from all eligible candidates by the Unit Commanders. All received applications should be signed by a GO of the unit duly stamped with date. Candidates must ensure that applicant’s portion of Appendix-A including Col No. 1 to 13. Appendix B-1. B- 2 & B-3 are filled in before appending his/her signature. Last date of receipt of the above applications by the respective DisG (Application Receiving Centre) as mentioned in Para 2 above shall be 12.02.2021 The Unit Commanders while forwarding the applications will ensure that the following documents are duly attested by a Gazetted Officer:
a) Certificate in support of belonging to Sc/ST & Hill areas on theformati as prescribed in Appendix “C” & “D” circulated vide this Directorate letter No E- 32017/3/06/Rectt/ 934 dated 25.05.2006. 
b) Matriculation certificate in support of date of birth 
c) Plus two level of schooling (either through formal schooling for 12 years or through open school system) recognized by the Central/State Government for this purpose or its equivalent. 
d) Graduation degree certificate from recognized University in support of educational qualification.
